House hearing looks at IT security at VA

Congress wants to know whether or not security has improved.

Years after that laptop was stolen from a Department of Veterans Affairs employee, security problems still exist. We told you yesterday about a more recent case where a laptop was stolen from a contractor who worked at the VA. Also, the Government Accountability Office recently released a report about this. Well, the House of Representatives is now getting into the act and is holding a hearing today about information security at the agency.
