Aging inmates are putting a strain on the Bureau of Prisons. That’s according a new report from the Justice Department’s Inspector General. The IG found older inmates incur greater medical costs, and that many prisons aren’t properly equipped to handle a geriatric inmate population. Michael Horowitz is the Justice IG.
