Recommendations are flowing into the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction — otherwise known as the supercommittee.

Since the members of the committee were named early last month, first the president and then a slew of Congressional leaders have released their proposal and for what the panel should cut, and how much.

Many of those recommendations take aim at agency budgets, contracting, and federal pay and benefits.

Alexander Bolton, a staff writer for The Hill newspaper, joined the Federal Drive with Tom Temin and Amy Morris to discuss the various proposals and how they could impact federal employees.
