Merit System Protection Board pushes on despite vacancies

Mark Robbins, the only appointee left, on the MSRB, continues to crank out his workload while federal workers wait to hear their appeals on civil services cases...

The federal Merit Systems Protection Board is charged with hearing appeals of civil service government employees.  An issue facing the current board is that it has two vacancies, and Mark Robbins, who serves as vice chairman of the Board, is the only one on the job at this time.  How does he do it?   Robbins told  Federal Drive with Tom Temin that the vacancies haven’t reduced his work load.
