Amid the partial government shutdown, one group sometimes gets overlooked. Political appointees must stay on the job, often when they’re the only ones at work. A case in point is Mark Robbins, vice chair and the only member of the Merit Systems Protection Board. In fact, he was also there for the 2013 shutdown. He spoke with Federal Drive with Tom Temin about the shutdown.
