NIST program helps US manufacturers improve efficiencies

The Manufacturing Extension Partnership has a goal of making U.S. manufacturers more competitive.

From nanostructures to locomotives, the United States economy is still highly dependent on manufacturing.

At the National Institute of Standards and Technology, one program has been dedicated to helping U.S. manufacturers improve their efficiency and competitiveness. It’s the Manufacturing Extension Partnership. Roger Kilmer, director of the MEP, joined The Federal Drive with Tom Temin and Emily Kopp with an update.
