The Merit Systems Protection Board is revising the rules by which it hears and decides federal employment cases for the first time since the agency opened its doors 33 years ago. Chairman Susan Grundmann calls the revision a “watershed event.” She told us why MSPB is making the changes. Final changes to the rules are expected this fall.
Larry Melton — Assistant Commissioner, Public Buildings Service, General Services Administration
You might not think of IBM as a plumbing and heating contractor, but “Big Blue” will help reduce utility consumption in 50 big federal buildings.
