April 7, 2015 — Today’s interview is with Matt Briddell, the vice president of Health IT at LCG, Inc.
The discussion revolves around managing mobile devices.
LCG, Inc. works with a wide variety of vendors in order to give the federal customer a best fit for managing mobile technology.
Briddell differentiated between products from Air Watch as well as Good Technology.
Requirements vary so much among federal agencies that each system must be understood thoroughly before designing a system that is optimized for each project’s requirements.
When most of us think of mobile devices, we don’t necessarily think of improving healthcare services to veterans in remote locations.
Briddell details some of the success his company had in improving services and reducing cost at the Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
One new point that he brought up was the concept of the “quantified self” and what it means to the medical community. This concept merges self-knowledge with self-tracking.
