Federal agencies can’t seem to decide what November should mean. Here’s a few different suggestions:

Having a Native American History month sounds like a great idea. Having it during the same month as Thanksgiving seems a little contradictory. “Today we give thanks that Native Americans helped European colonists survive in this country. The rest of the month we remember and regret that we never returned the favor.”

Manatee awareness month sounds like a fine idea as well. But maybe we should raise awareness for marine mammals who are susceptible to cold-related diseases during a summer month.

In fact, let’s just stay away from the ocean altogether during November.

I see nothing wrong with this.

Or this.

But not shaving keeps your face warm. That’s what November is all about, Charlie Brown.
