Raytheon has landed a nearly $52 million contract with the Navy. Washington Technology reports the contractor will work with the Navy’s communications terminals of its Extremely High Frequency Satellite Program. That program provides jam-proof communications for submarines, major surface ships and sites onshore. It also provides connectivity with the Army and Air Force communication systems. Raytheon will be responsible for tracking and warehousing the material that’s used, and will evaluate, test, and repair it as needed.
