Food and Drug Commissioner Dr. Margaret Hamburg will be stepping down this week. She’s been on the job for nearly six years. The former New York City public health commissioner has had an eventful career in Washington. The compounding pharmacy scare and passage of a major reform bill are just a couple of the big episodes. Ahead of her departure, she sat down with Federal Drive Host Tom Temin to review her tenure at the agency and offer some thoughts on where it should go in the future.
